Consultants in conversation with a client across a light table in a plaster-walled office Led by the people who do the work

The People Behind Ypsa Lune

Ypsa Lune keeps a small team on purpose. It caps how many engagements we take at once and means the consultants who scope your project are the ones who do the work. Below is how the team is structured, what each role covers, and what you can expect from the people you will actually speak with.

A small firm, by design

We could take on more clients. We choose not to. Every engagement gets a lead consultant who owns the relationship and the deliverable, with one or two people supporting depending on scope. That structure keeps the quality steady when several projects run at once.

It also means we say no when the calendar is full, rather than stretching a team across more work than it can do carefully. A short wait for the right consultant beats a fast start with someone who will be replaced halfway through.

How we work

What that looks like on your project

  • One lead consultant owns the relationship from kickoff to handoff.
  • One or two supporting specialists join by scope, not by default.
  • Engagements are capped so each team stays on fewer projects at once.

The lead consultant role

Your lead consultant runs the working sessions, writes or directs the deliverable, and is your single point of contact from kickoff to handoff. They are also the person who tells you when a requested change is not worth making.

Most of our leads have spent time on the client side of a service business, which tends to make them blunt about what actually moves a booking rate versus what only looks good in a deck.

Strategy and positioning

Positioning work is led by consultants who have written offers and proposals themselves, not just audited them from outside. They will sit with your intake calls, read your last twenty proposals, and find the language that already works before inventing anything new.

The output is usually one page: who you help, what you do for them, why you, written so anyone on your team can use it. No deck to maintain, no brand manual to forget in a shared drive.

Copy and content

The writers on the team came from editorial and marketing backgrounds, and they work in your subject matter rather than above it. Practically, that means they will ask what a discovery phase means at your firm before writing the phrase on your homepage.

How they write

  • Plain American English, sentences that vary in length.
  • Questions asked before a phrase gets used as a claim.
  • Drafts cut down rather than filled out.

Build and technical work

Some engagements need the implementation, not just the recommendation. Our technical work covers page structure, booking integrations, form handling, and the tracking setup behind it.

We work within whatever platform you already use, and we document what we changed so your own developer or agency can pick it up later. Nothing we build requires us to maintain it forever.

What we ask of clients

A decision-maker on the calls. Feedback within a few days, not a few weeks. Access to your site, analytics, and booking tools early. That is most of it.

Projects slow down for one reason above all others: a review that sits unanswered while the offer keeps shifting underneath it. Fast, rough feedback beats slow, perfect feedback on work like this.

The standards behind the work

  • Every deliverable gets a review pass against the original brief before it reaches you.
  • We do not hand over a page and leave the tracking broken.
  • We do not name a consultant on a pitch and swap them after signing.
  • A written record of decisions, so a team change does not force anyone to reconstruct why a page looks the way it does.

Getting to know us before you commit

The consultation is where this matters. You will meet the person who would run your engagement, ask them directly about relevant work, and get an honest read on fit. There is no sales team in between. If we are not right for the problem, we will say so on that call and suggest what to do instead.

Who will I speak with first?

The consultant who would lead the work, not a coordinator. They ask about the problem before quoting anything.

Can I see relevant past work?

Yes. The team keeps a record of client engagements; you can review selected case studies before or during the call.

What if you are not the right fit?

We tell you on the call and point toward what would work better. The consultation is not a pitch meeting; honesty here saves both sides a project.

Meet the person who would run your engagement

Book a consultation and speak with the consultant who owns the work, not a sales team. Bring the problem; you will leave with a straight read on fit, scope, and whether we are the right people to take it on.
